If awakening is downstream of sufficiently high neural dynamism due to increased blood flow from vascular unlatching, then maybe to a lesser degree, the same could be true for certain perspective shifts/outgrowing ideology??
It's certainly an intriguing perspective. Maybe our tendency to develop hardened beliefs about how the world is results from a lowering of hemo flow, resulting from conditioning/trauma.
